Delta

Grape Reception and Preparation

01

Delta Vibrating Trailers

RV (RVE) / REC

With a trailer fitted with vibrating plates and a drainage grid, hand- or machine-harvested grapes are transferred from vineyard to winery without being crushed. They are fed evenly and continuously by vibration into a reception hopper.

02

Delta AEV – Vibrating Vats

AEV

Delta AEV are vibrating vats used for receiving and transferring hand- or machine-harvested grapes. Vat capacity ranges from 30 to 150 hl. This equipment is essential for optimal stem separation.

03

Delta CV / CVE – Vibrating Vats

CV / CVE

Delta CV / CVE vibrating and tilting vats are used for receiving and transferring hand- or machine-harvested grapes. They feed destemmers, sorting tables, as well as automatic sorting systems (e.g. Delta Vistalys) and presses.

04

Delta Oscillys Destemmer

50 / 100 / 200

This special destemming process takes place without beater arms or a rotating drum. Delta Oscillys uses a high-amplitude pendulum motion of one or two drums to separate grapes from the stems.

05

Delta E Destemmer

1 / 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 10

Grapes are fed through the hopper and gradually brought up to the same speed, without impact. The cage and beater rotate in the same direction to prevent any shearing effect on the grapes.

06

Delta BFR Stem Crusher

Delta BFR solves the problem of stems accumulating when grapes are separated from the stalks. Placed after the destemmer, this crusher reduces stem volume by 80% (saving space) and thus limits handling (saving time).

07

Delta TRV Vibrating Sorting Tables

20 / 25 / 35 /

Delta TRV sorting tables ensure even distribution across the table width, separating high-quality berries from free-run juice and plant debris, and feeding them continuously to the next equipment in the reception line.

08

Delta Trio Mechanical Sorter

XS / XM / XL / XXL

The Delta Trio mechanical sorter is used for sorting hand- or machine-harvested grapes. Delta Trio efficiently removes plant debris such as leaves, stems, petioles and other fragments.

09

Delta Rflow Sorting Tables

XS / XM

The air barrier of this mechanical sorting table for hand- or machine-harvested grapes removes plant debris such as leaves, stems, stalks, skins, seeds, and green or dried berries.

10

Delta Vistalys HD Automatic Grape Sorter

Berries are sorted using a colour camera. Continuous image analysis lets the user perform careful screening based on technical requirements and initial grape quality. Delta Vistalys allows extremely precise sorting, tailored to objectives and initial grape quality, by setting colour parameters.

11

Delta Densilys Density Sorting Tables

XS / XM

This sorting table uses a continuous discharge system to separate hand- or machine-harvested grapes from everything unwanted: leaves, stem fragments, insects, unripe berries, seeds, skins, and dried or crushed berries.

12

Delta PMV Pumps

1 / 2 / 4

The operating principle of the Delta PMV pump allows very gentle grape transfer. It transports crushed grapes at 3 to 30 t/h and transfers fermented pomace at 10 to 15 t/h using positive displacement.

13

Delta DP Peristaltic Pumps

The Delta DP pump is a dual-purpose peristaltic pump for fresh grapes and wine. It handles destemmed grapes (except Delta DP 1) at 2.5 to 29 t/h and high-quality wine transfer from 1.5 to 35 m³/h.

14

Delta Extractys Selective Extraction Process

Delta Extractys is a patented, physical, selective extraction process. It is designed to enhance, both quantitatively and qualitatively, the extraction of membrane compounds from grape berries — such as polyphenols (anthocyanins and tannins) and aromatic precursors — following thermal treatment of the crop. Delta Extractys lets the winemaker selectively control extraction.

Bucher / Sutter

Pressing

01

Bucher XPro Pneumatic Presses

The Bucher XPro pneumatic press is perfect for pressing fresh grapes, fermented pomace, or for selecting high-quality batches for winemaking. Compact, easy to move and operate, Bucher XPro presses can be installed in any type of winery.

02

Bucher XPlus IT Pneumatic Presses

22 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 62 / 80

Closed-tank pneumatic presses offer a range of programs (automatic, sequential, Organ) that are easy to apply for pressing under any required conditions. Bucher Inertys is an exclusive inert-gas pressing process, protecting 100% of the must from oxidation.

03

Bucher XPert IT Pneumatic Presses

100 / 115 / 150 / 250 / 320 / 450

Closed-tank pneumatic presses offer a range of programs (automatic, sequential, Organ) that are easy to apply for pressing under any required conditions. Bucher Inertys is an exclusive inert-gas pressing process, protecting 100% of the must from oxidation. Bucher XPert presses are designed to meet the needs of cooperative wineries. A touchscreen simplifies programming.

04

Bucher JLB Vertical Press

5 / 12 / 20

The Bucher JLB basket press is designed for pressing fermented pomace. The operator is fully protected by a safety grid, and the transparent design lets you observe the wine flow to optimise programs as needed. Balancing tradition and modernity, the Bucher JLB Automated Basket Press removes every constraint of older basket presses.

05

Sutter EPC Open-Tank Presses

25 / 35 / 50 / 90

Unique performance plays a major role! Smooth pressing, a large draining surface and easy cleaning are the main advantages of these open-tank presses. Sutter EPC presses are designed to quickly extract juice from ripe grapes. The Sutter EPC press is today a worldwide reference, notably thanks to its performance, technology and the high quality of the must it produces.

Flavy

Filtration Technologies

01

Flavy ML Reverse Osmosis

2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12

Reverse osmosis is a physical membrane process that can extract, under pressure, part of the water (permeate) contained in grape must in order to increase sugar concentration. The performance of Bucher Vaslin's Flavy ML machines is based both on very long experience with membrane processes and on an ongoing commitment to improving their implementation. They demonstrate high efficiency.

02

Flavy FX Cross-Flow Filters

2 ICS / 3 ICS / 100 / 300 / Tandem

Flavy cross-flow filters can filter any type of wine while preserving its quality: wine during fermentation (fermenting cloudy must), wine after fermentation, and wine after processing (fining, stabilisation…).

03

Flavy X-Wine Cross-Flow Filters

4 / 6 / 8 / 10

The Flavy X-Wine range is the best answer to today's industrial challenges and requirements. Performance, an intuitive operating system, ergonomics, a wide range of options and modularity are the main features of Flavy X-Wine cross-flow filters.

04

Flavy Leestar Juice and Wine Lees Filtration Equipment

3 / 4 / 5 / 6

This filter is designed to treat bottom lees, post-fining lees and filtration retentate. Filtering with Flavy Leestar makes it possible to significantly reduce wine losses and prepare filtered wine for bottling. Flavy Leestar is suited to wineries, large cellars and wine merchants who generate around 3% of tank 'bottoms'.
